There is bus service as far as the community of Santa Cruz, from there by car or taxi as there is no public transport to the station.

ATTRACTIONS OF YOU CAN FIND IN THE DIRÍA
WILDLIFE REFUGE FOREST

o Tropical Dry Forest in transition to Tropical Moist Forest.
o Premontane Wet Forest.
o Protects parts of the watersheds of the Ríos Enmedio, Diriá, and Tigre
o Includes representative samples of two life zones: Tropical Dry Forest and Premontane Wet Forest.
o Elevations ranging from 459 to 3150 feet
o Tree species commonly found include guayabo (Psidium guajava), pochote (Bombacopsis quinatum), tempisque (Sideroxylom tempisque), ojoche (Brosimun alicastrum) and guanacaste (Enterolobium cyclocarpum).
o Some of the mammals found here are:mantled howler monkey (Alouatta palliata) agouti (Dasyprocta punctata), raccoon (Procyon lotor), grison (Galictis vittata) and peccary (Tayassu tajacu).
