For the most fulfilling experience in the forest, it is important to go with an experienced naturalist guide. These woods do not give up their secrets easily. A naturalist guide will help you understand the complex interrelationships of the species in the forest. And help you identify some of the most common watched birds and animals you will see in our forests like: wild cats, ducks, toucans, parrots, macaws, armadillos, sloths, squirrels, deers, bats and a lot more. In some of our regions you will be able to spot crocodiles, iguanas and some alligators. During the sea turtle nesting season, these prehistoric creatures return to the same beach where they were hatched, they dig their nests and lay the eggs from which the next generation of turtles will emerge.
